Did you know that a Property Manager cannot attend and represent a landlord at the Landlord and Tenant Board Tribunal?  Roles and responsibilities have shifted recently due to a very watched case: The Law Society of Upper Canada v. Chiarelli, 2013 ONSC 1428This case involved a property manager,  Enzo Vincent Chiarelli, who was taken to task claiming he was in fact  a LANDLORD based on the definition within the Residential Tenancies Act, 2006. He went as far as to appeal the original decision, but the appeal was dismissed.  While this case was evolving, I realized an increased opportunity  to enter the profession of law, specializing in Landlord and Tenant.
